Have you seen a lover-boy go evil. Not romantic-vampire-evil but just pure-evil psychotic with no remorse. I am talking about Hugh Grant.

The movie was just waiting to go sinister. There was no sudden plot, every step and action had the audience just re-confirming their prediction. What I have noticed from these movies is the ending quote from Burn After Reading - "what did we learn from the whole thing - nothing."

Heretic doesn't only take the innocence of the innocent actors, but of us audience too.

Overall the movie was not that bad. Great for a one-time watch.
